Electrical Services: Compliance Upgrades & Full Installation

Delta-M handles two main types of electrical work: bringing an existing installation up to code, and complete electrical installation for a house, flat or office.

Upgrading an existing installation

Many homes and offices have ageing electrical installations that no longer meet current safety requirements. The NF C 15-100 standard, the reference text for low-voltage installations in France, covers personal protection, circuit protection, earthing, dedicated circuits and the rules applicable to wet rooms.

Upgrading is not systematically mandatory in an older home as long as no major renovation work is carried out — but it is strongly recommended as soon as the installation shows signs of ageing (no earthing, an outdated consumer unit, no residual-current circuit breakers). It becomes mandatory as soon as a renovation involves new wiring or a modification to the consumer unit.

We carry out a diagnostic of your installation, identify non-compliance issues and perform the necessary work: consumer unit, earthing, residual-current protection, dedicated circuits (kitchen, bathroom), replacement of outdated wiring.

Complete electrical installation: houses, flats, offices

For new-build construction, a complete renovation or an office fit-out, we carry out the entire electrical installation, from the consumer unit to sockets and light fittings, in full compliance with current standards.

When the work requires the power supply to be reconnected by the grid operator, a compliance certificate (Consuel) must be issued before connection. We prepare your file and your installation in advance so that this inspection goes smoothly, with no issues to correct, and we support you until this certificate is obtained.

Why choose Delta-M

We also work in solar panels and, soon, EV charging stations. A compliant electrical installation is above all a matter of safety for people and property. We work with the same rigour whether it’s a simple upgrade or a complete installation, for a house, flat or office.

Frequently asked questions

Does my older home need to be upgraded to NF C 15-100 standards?

Not necessarily if no major work is planned, but it’s recommended if there are signs of ageing. It becomes mandatory as soon as you touch the wiring or the consumer unit.

What are the signs that an electrical installation needs upgrading?

No earthing, an old consumer unit without residual-current circuit breakers, unprotected sockets in wet rooms, outdated wiring.

Do I need a compliance certificate for an electrical renovation?

Yes, as soon as the work requires the grid operator to reconnect the power — which is the case for a complete renovation or new-build construction.

Does Delta-M also handle small electrical jobs?

Yes, from one-off repairs to complete installations, for houses, flats and offices.
